Cowart's Common Room
Lark Post

Morning Larks,

Raining heavily here this morning a lot colder at only 16 degrees.

Spent two and half days in bed with the severe sickness I had recently, feel as though I have been put through the mangle today but much better so hopefully I am on the way to recovery finally apart from bruised ribs from being sick so much.

Now this morning too I have discovered that my sentimental jewellery has all gone missing. My wedding ring, my mother's wedding ring, also a chipped diamond dress ring and a pair of antique pearl earrings . Last time I reemember was taking them off here when my family came to visit with the girls. Hunted high and low all over the house still not found them.

Seems more quieter here after the bank holiday with less parking and folk back to work, some neighbours have moved although only round the corner to a bigger house they sold to next buyers which is going to be their second home.

Enjoy your day everyone.Very Happy

Re:
Camilla's Avatar Just spotted a large baby seagull who looks distressed tweeting for his parent on the garden roof here. Do baby ones have brown speckled feathers? I just hope it isn't the one that I read about the other day about a man being fined for trying to push a baby Gull into a dustbin last week .Sad

Re:
Fennie's Avatar Glad you are feeling better, Camilla. Sounds as if you know need some days of rest.

Oh dear your jewellery. If it was somewhere the little ones might have found it they might have picked it up to play with. Also I suppose might have inadvertently taken it home. The sort of thing little ones do, not realising remotely the value, sentimental and otherwise and that such items are not toys.
Do hope you can find them. SadSad

Re:
Camilla's Avatar Baby Seagull must have flown off, such a pretty bird.

Thank you kindly Fennie, yes it's knocked the stuffing out of me that's for sure the sickness, old BD has returned now but soldier on soldier on...Very Happy Some sunshine is needed, torrential rain here.

Remarkably discovered my wedding ring and dress ring at the bottom of an old shopping bag, heck no idea how it got there... still seeking my late mothers wedding ring though. Will keep you posted.

Very Happy
