Cowart's Common Room
Weekend Lark

Morning Larks,

21 degrees here at the moment lots of warm sunshine and gentle breeze going to stay dry today after two days of heavy rain showers but back to rain again tomorrow.

Woke up this morning feeling sick as a dog and have been constantly to the loo too no doubt it's a rotten bug and I feel so tired and drained recently hey ho I am sure it will pass in time. No appetite this morning so just dry toast and glass of water me thinks and then back to my old lumpy bed.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone, enjoy the sunshine while it lasts.Very Happy

Camilla's Avatar Very quiet on Coo today...Very Happy perhaps you are all sunbathing or relaxing in the garden.

Felt better this afternoon so had a stroll along the beach and breathed in the sea air with Patch... lots of folk flying their kites it is perfect with enough breeze to fly a kite.

Just Lentil soup tonight with a buttered roll for moi this eveniing going to give my tummy a rest, I did partake in more choc than usual yesterday... that'll teach me.Very Happy

Fennie's Avatar Oh dear! (what can the matter be?). Maybe something you've eaten - but get it out of your system as quick as you can. Sending lots of stomach and sickness medicinal vibes and a big hug too. Dry toast is good - also beef tea (aka Oxo).

Sadly no sunshine here but heavy rain. Been in Monmouth this pm. Drizzle here at lunchtime then dry until teatime at Monmouth but then heavy rain all the way back. Bought some books and found a book on touring Wales on bicycle which my French hosts Jean-Charles and Béatrice wanted.
Brownie points will soon be collected. Lunch in the little Italian restaurant. How do you say, "bill" in Italian, I asked the waitress. 'I don't know,' she replied. 'I'm Greek.' Very HappyVery Happy

Camilla's Avatar Thank you Fennie…. hopefully it wont come back again but I did feel rather rotten. Love Oxo but only have veggie Oxo at the moment in stock although I do have a jar of Marmite in the larder.Very Happy

Think you must have had the rain we had here these last two days in Norfolk Fennie, dry today here but raining Sun and Mon I hear here.

Well done for spotting the book on touring in Wales on your bike.

Only know two words in Italian Puna for bread and Bonasara for Good Evening. When I was about 8 years old and living in London we had Italian neighbours one side I became friends with their daughter and I can always remember her name even now. Rosanna Milia Louisa Muscatelli I wonder what happened to her perhaps she is living in Italy now.Very Happy

Camilla's Avatar Actually I love the Italian language so expressive.

Fennie's Avatar Il conto per piacere (Could I have the bill, please?) Had to google it myself. Suspect piacere is pronounced pee-ah-serr-ray.

Very Happy

Camilla's Avatar Yes tummy much better today thank you FN, no idea why it was either a bug or I ate too much choc the day before which I don't usually do. Very Happy
