Cowart's Common Room
Skirtle

You probably saw FN's pictures of Skirtle, the bottlenosed dolphin who became sunburnt in the Moray firth.

If not you can but a copy of today's 'Times' and you will see three large pics of Skirtle whose name is even acknowledged.

I think FN should apply for a position as the Times' dolphin correspondent in the Moray Firth (or at least beside it).

Re:
Fairy Nuff's Avatar Ah! the Times... we shall check upon that one - they have a bad rep for publishing stories gleaned from the web and not paying up unless chased. Rolling Eyes Bad form when it's a charity HO works for.

At least as a correspondent I would not only get paid but actually get credited for my work - something else papers are not good at.

p.s. She's called Spirtle as in Porridge (her Mum) Oats (her big brother) and Honey (her big sister). Very Happy

Fairy Nuff's Avatar Laughing
Porridge has had a new calf about 10 days ago, it won't get named until it's about 2 years old, my suggestion for this one is Cranachan.Very Happy

Re:
Fennie's Avatar Cranachan for me
Cranachan for you
Cranachan for a dolphin
That's just about two.

But what does Cranachan mean? And is it a dolphino or a dolphina?

Re:
Fairy Nuff's Avatar It's a delicious pudding made with pinhead oats, cream, honey and raspberries... a sort of Scots Eton Mess.
