Cowart's Common Room
Volcanic Lark

Oh gosh - has no-one posted today? Poor Coo. I feel we are like one of those plates balanced on a wire that has to be spun to stay up. Twice a day at least - Larks and Owls, Peacock and Fowls. And here is an amazing picture of some of the Volcanoes in this part of the world. Quite a way from where we are now but very pretty nonetheless. They are extinct as far as we can tell, but one never knows. We have more volcanoes about an hour's drive away and a ski resort too at Le Lioran as the volcanoes are quite high enough for that activity. Uploaded Image

And here is a picture of a pretty balcony in a nearby village that actually straddles the border between the Cantal and Aveyron departements. The village - Saint Santin - has two churches, two bakeries, two butchers, two museums and two war memorials one in each half of the village. Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou Romeo?

Camilla's Avatar Hi Fennie.

Thank you for posting sorry not around much today out for most of the day in Reepham and the Jag got me home after a touch and go problem with the turbo! So much traffic on the roads too, big lorry's, tractors. Buses, coaches, and then going over a small bridge (loathe going over a bridge) where it is not single file a driver coming the other way over the bridge towards me got too close and whacked my car wing mirror, wallop! I could have gone over the bridge! I think that bridge needs to be single file only and a set of lights at the start of it.Very Happy

Thanks for the lovely pics Fennie, just hope that volcano does not erupt any time in the foreseeable future .! Love the pretty balcony, indeed very fitting for Where art thou RomeoVery Happy who lives there Fennie?

Fennie's Avatar Somebody called Capulet I think.

As to the volcano I think we are pretty safe. Trump is the one more likely to explode! Or Kim! Or both. Rolling Eyes

Lampworkbeader's Avatar Happy memories of a long trek across those volcanoes that started in Le Lioran. Mr Lampie made me walk all the way up as he said catching the cable car was cheating.
