Cowart's Common Room
Would you believe it?

I have just seen our first Red Admiral Butterfly in the garden this year. It's September!

We have had numerous Cabbage White and in June I thought I saw an Orange Tip, but other than that ... nothing.

Now, a Red Admiral, in nearly Autumn. Well, all right Autumn. Where has he been all Summer?

Re:
Camilla's Avatar Adore butterflys, used to see them a lot at our old garden as we had a large Bhudlia bush which attracted them lots of Admirals too but only seen a few little white ones here over the summer month. Perhaps it is the long warm weather this year KKCVery Happy

Re:
KitKatCot's Avatar I'm afraid we haven't had much warm weather up here this year. May and June seemed promising but July and August were distinctly overcast and on the cool side.
