Good morning

Hello all! Are you alright? It is very unusual not to find either Camilla or Fennie here when I check after breakfast.

Re:
Fennie's Avatar Oh dear, poor Camilla. Toothache is horribly vile and made even worse by losing sleep. I do hope you are able to sort it out. I have given you my best advice. Now I can just send you a hug or two. Do feel for you as I am sure we all do.SadSad

Re:
KitKatCot's Avatar I think toothache is the worst pain I have ever had. But, bear in mind that I have never given birth!

I hope you have the tooth seen to today.

Re:
Camilla's Avatar Thank you Fennie, KKC,

Well I rang several dentists here in GT Yarmouth today all of them said they could not see me not even for an emergency of which it is of course. So in the end I rang 111 medical emergency service spoke to a lovely lady on the phone who asked for my age date of birth etc and my GP then went through list of questions for me to answer. She gave me one more dentist to ring near me 24 hour service I rang them and they said no dentists there at the moment so I can't be seen. 111 told me to ring back again tomorrow morning at 8am and they will give me more advice . I even rang my GP amd asked them if they knew of one that could see me for emergency they said my best bet would be to go along to the A&E tomorrow morning and see a dentist there at the James Paget Hospital which is about 1 hour away from here in Norfolk. In the meantime I am taking paracetamol can't take Ibruprofin as it always upsets my tummy. What a miserable NHS service it is here. I even rang a dentist near where I used to live and they said they couldn't see me either and they are not taking on any new patients until November this year not even as an emergency !Sad

Re:
KitKatCot's Avatar Oh, I hoped that you wouldn't have to go through what I did.

Until you get an appointment take paracetamol every two hours then take ibuprofen every other two hours. I know you said that ibuprofen upsets your tummy, but isn't that better than the pain in your tooth?

Re:
Withy Brook's Avatar Do NOT take more than 8 paracetamol in 24 hours. Result even worse than toothache.

Re:
Withy Brook's Avatar Seems to me that if it gets desperate in the night, ring 999
