Here is a picture of Camilla following Withy's advice, though I am not sure about the carthorse - no place for a suitcase and the dress isn't really suitable either. Perhaps she is the young woman who appeared in the little story I wrote yesterday while I was sitting in Waitrose while J shopped. I may send it off to the Exeter Flash competition for a 250 word story which closes on 31 August. I don't know why I do such competitions, perhaps because otherwise I wouldn't write anything, but I think my entry fee money would be better spent on the lottery.

And here's another picture of a 5am escape into the darkness. But seriously I do hope that Resident Owl is bearing up and send her and everyone my best wishes and purple hugs for a happy and productive and stress free day. Tomorrow we leave early for the Isle of Wight for a few days of an Unrest Cure with children and grandchildren. Very HappyVery Happy

Re:
Fairy Nuff's Avatar Have a lovely if busy holiday on the Isle of Wight Fennie, lovely place, that's where we did our RNLI training (not that we saw much of the island that week except from the sea - I don't recommend swimming in the channel, it seems to be 80% diesel judging by the layer of fumes that float upon it when you're floating in it!).

I think the Jag would be a far better mode of transport Fennie. Hopefully we shall hear from her later.

Camilla's Avatar Good afternoon Everyone,

Ah, one of my favourite pics Fennie, lady galloping on a black horse Very Happy long time since I galloped on a horse must have been in the early sixties along the sea edge here in Norfolk on the North Norfolk Coast.

Oh well done with writing the short story competition Fennie, best of luck let us know how you got on mind you if I were a judge I would award you first place and stick a purple rosette on your lapel.Very Happy

I am bearing up thanks like I always do keep calm and carry on and all that except sometimes I don't fell like carrying on throw in the towel and fling it as far as possible.....Very Happy

Popped over to see my daughter at mid day today for lunch with Patch sat out in her glorious garden looking out over the fields and I must admit I could have sat there all day.

Feeling sleepy today I think it may be to do with the new tablet of antihistimine I am taking as one of the side affects is drowsiness and headache that too I have .

Thank you kindly for posting for the larks Fennie, have a lovely few days away in the IOW wishing for you lots of sunshine while you are there. I have been there once went with the school for two weeks to Shanklin must have been about 10 at the time.
