Cowart's Common Room
Morning Larks

Overslept this morning so I must be quick. Hope all is OK elsewhere. So here is a hare to remind me to be quick as a flash.

What beautiful creatures, such strength and power and magical too. Almost mythical in that they really belong with unicorns and dragons, so I don't expect to see one day. But nevertheless keep a look out, the world has been (quite literally) sprinkled with star dust from the Perseid meteors so you never know what may happen. Anyway had a good, happy and fulfilling day, smile at your neighbours and make some random act of kindness.

Re:
Withy Brook's Avatar I love the mystical hare! We still have the odd one round here. 36 years ago, when I first came here, the place heaved with them.

Re:
KitKatCot's Avatar We saw one the other Sunday whilst on our walk round the village. I said to Himself 'Look at the size of that Rabbit' at which point it raised itself up to its full height including huge ears and gave me such a look. 'Madame, I am a HARE'Laughing

Re:
Camilla's Avatar Thank you kindly Fennie for posting for the Larks.

I adore the Hares, apparently they have been seen here over Winterton racing along the headlands of the dunes although I have never seen one here since I have moved.

Beautiful mystical intelligent creatures the Hares, and would I eat jugged Hare.... certainly not.!

My day has been very busy and as for neighbours Fennie I shall write more on this later on the forums... across the road at number 10 I think she has a screw loose! I am not one for confrontation as a rule, but boy oh boy.Very Happy

Love the sweet Hare pic Fennie.

Re:
Fairy Nuff's Avatar We're lucky enough to see them quite often out on the high moorland, we rarely come across the Farr road without seeing one, in their summer or winter coats.

I can just imagine they would be rather indignant at being mistaken for a rabbit KKC. Very Happy

Oh dear Camilla, trouble with t'neighbours. Confused

Re:
Camilla's Avatar I would not call them neighbours as such Fennie they live in a house that backs on to my pathway at the rear of cottage so is in a different road to where our cottage is situated from the front. My immediate neighbours are lovely thank goodness.
