Phew! Just made it back in time...

Just made it back from a few days cycling in France to remind you we are due to start making our comments on Hotel du Lac by Anita Brookner tomorrow, 18th June.
The picture is of me in Granville, Normandy having a day off from riding my bike.

Inthemud's Avatar That should say Rock Choir, that is what happens when all your keyboard is worn out and cannot see the letters!

Lampworkbeader's Avatar The famous Abbey Road Studios Muddie. I want to know more!

Yes, I am in a French cafe in the sunshine, but five minutes later and I was rushing indoors as the heavens opened up, and yes it is a tomato juice ... ashamed to say, morning after the night before.Rolling Eyes

Camilla's Avatar Wow Muddie! Recording in the famous Abbey Road Studio's how great is that. I was only talking about Abbey Road today when my grandson came over we were sorting through the enormous pile of original LP's in their covers that I have collected since my younger days. Have a lot of the Beatle ones and was sifting through to find the Abbey Road one.Very Happy

Fairy Nuff's Avatar Laughing For a moment there I thought that was the same woman from Fennie's Lark post the other day, sitting outside the cafe this time.

Cycling round France sounds like rather a lovely pastime, Lampie and not forgetting that a Bloody Mary is made from tomato juice of course. Wink

I hope you're going to get your photo taken on the zebra crossing Muddie. Very Happy

Inthemud's Avatar Hi , I will tell you all about Abbey Road tomorrow. Apparently we are not allowed to have photos on the crossing now after someone got hit by a car last year. But it is very exciting, we have Sting's producer with us for the day!!

Inthemud's Avatar I did walk over the abbey Road crossing but we were not allowed to stop for photos in our Rock choir uniform, but I did find myself on the Earth cam, but it only is visible for the day so gone now.Sad
