Fennie's Avatar Do hope the old jalopy passed its MoT!

Lovely vista there in the photograph.

Still trying to catch up after the visit to Clisson. An endless succession of things to do - and now today we have Beanie and again on Monday. Will try to do a post later. Trying also to sort out a Kindle edition of my book and of course keep up my piano practice. All too much. Grey and dismal morning. Must go and make some porridge. Thanks for posting. At least I don't have to do a lark post! Very HappyVery Happy

Camilla's Avatar Best of luck with your novel for the kindle edition Fennie, more and more people seem to be using it but I still love the feel and look of a book.

Enjoy your day with Beanie, perhaps one day she will love to play the piano like her Grandpa. When I was the same age I remember getting a little tiny red plastic piano with about only 7 keys on it it came with a small nursery rhyme song sheet one of the nursery rhymes was three blind mice. Press the keys of numbers - 3 2 1. 3 2 1 and so on....

Very humid here in Norfolk and big cracking thunderstorm about 9am. Quite peeved about my gardener letting me down lately will have to see if I can find another one . Thanks for putting up all the lark posts Fennie but only if you have time . I try my best in hopping on the perch to post but sometimes I lack the sleep and find myself a tad fragile .

Very Happy

Fairy Nuff's Avatar We all learned to play the piano thanks to a soft pencil to mark the white keys CDEFandG then the music was marked to match, a tried and tested method used by many a piano teacher.
Before you knew it you not only could play the tune but could unwittingly read the simple music too.Very Happy

Coloured stickers can be good too for really little children that don't know their alphabet yet.

Camilla's Avatar Yes I think it's a brilliant idea FN re coloured stickers and marking the keys with soft pencil to help to teach play the piano. I think I need to put this method to the test!Very Happy

Camilla's Avatar My old jalopy has passed its MOT! 20 years old and still going strong albeit a tad on the rusty side. It's like what you saw on Top Gear years ago, when they tried to blow up the Car, set JCB on it too and still the car kept going.Very Happy
