Cowart's Common Room
I Can't Sleep Chat Post

Hello Owls and Larks,

Oops, fell asleep on that comfy sofa again.!

I bought two frames for pictures of my children when they were very young, the previous frames sadly have become well worn over the years but I shall keep the original frames to restore later.

No new name chosen yet for little granddaughter due in June.Very Happy

Capaccinno tonight with ginger biscuits, help yourselves.

If you can't sleep and there are others on line then have a natter here.

Night Night, & Sweet Dreams.

Re:
Fennie's Avatar I have never been able to understand why people enjoy 'distressing' furniture - and even books now from your picture. When and where I grew up furniture was distressed quite naturally simply by virtue of it being old and battered and living a life of hard knocks. Very HappyVery Happy

Re:
Fairy Nuff's Avatar I hate to think how many pieces of genuinely old distressed furniture have ended up on the fire as being past it... if only they had met an interior designer firstLaughing

Re:
Cadfael's Avatar No Camilla i think the photo is fab..............Its so wierd isnt it. Years ago if you found painted wood you would mutter and say how can people paint over lovely wood. Now i think oh how it brightens up dark colours........

Re:
Camilla's Avatar I suppose it is just different tastes Cadfael, I saw an old chest of drawers being advertised for free on one of the websites here in Norfolk, advert said it might be useful to someone with a lick of paint, the chest of drawers went very quickly the next day.
