Cardigoat

I'm giving my new Cardigoat it's first outing to the theatre tonight to see Scottish Ballets new production of "Hansel and Gretel".

Made by the lovely people at Ragamuffin on Skye...

Made from boiled tweed so it's felted wool, not quite a coat and not quite a cardigan, it's a Cardigoat!

Looking forward to the Ballet too, music by Engelbert Humperdinck... no! not that one, the German one thankfullyVery Happy

Camilla's Avatar Simply fabulous FN, so much so that I have just subscribed for email updates to Ragamuffin website. I love the various different styles of clothing too.

How lucky to be going to Hansel and Gretal Ballet tonight, would love to see it.

Fennie's Avatar When I see that note 'Angels Don't Trudge' I want to ask - how do you know? They have feet and I'm sure those wings must be awfully heavy. I am not sure I have ever seen an angel flying. Mostly they seem to rely on a species of levitation in which they keep their wings folded. There was a film once I remember with a blond woman who dressed in leather and sprouted wings most improbably and flew around saving people - or one young man in particular whom she rather fancied but who had depressive tendencies and kept trying to throw himself into the Seine. (I think it was a French film). She didn't have to trudge because the wings seemed to fold away into her handbag like a pocket umbrella. In any case she was of a size such that she and her whole family might have fitted inside the Cardigoat. So she didn't trudge. But he did. Trudge. But then he wasn't an angel. Maybe he wouldn't have been depressed if he's had a Cardigoat. Actually, I wouldn't mind one myself. Especially if it were red!
