Faith's Avatar It has been known in mine too!

In my daughter's house its the kids star-fishing in the bed with mum and dad on the outer corners, or even sleeping in the 4 year old's bed.

Blackbird's Avatar I learned with my first cat, in 70's, the problems that come from sharing a bed. Really, I didn't always mind being awakened with a cat on my chest before dawn only to have her be sound asleep when I went off to class. Really- not often.

With every other pet- my room is off limits at night and they have the rest of the house. works for me Very Happy

Kids were always welcome when they were little but that is why I stopped taking baths.....

Fairy Nuff's Avatar My cat was discouraged from coming upstairs so eventually didn't bother, my friends cat wasn't normally allowed to sleep on the beds but when I was visiting he would insist on sleeping curled up on the pillow beside my head insteadVery Happy

KitKatCot's Avatar That picture is exactly me and Himself when we had a Border Terrier. The only time the dog laid lengthways on the bed Himself woke up to feel breath on his face and made a note to mention to me the next day that my breath was more than a bit iffy. The next time he woke he got a lick on the nose and realised it wasn't meShocked
