Cowart's Common Room
I Can't Sleep Chat Post

Hello Owls,

A lovely day with my daughter yesterday, unfortunately the weather was very windy and cold with much rain so not exactly beach weather for long walks over the sands. Wonderful lunch at nearby restaurant looking over the Norfolk Broads with all the boating. Later in the day elder granddaughter baked me some cupcakes to take home with me, bless her, I have been truly spoilt.!Very Happy

I hear that America has been experiencing lots of heavy snow, hope our dear friends over the pond are safe and well.

Cup of hot chocolate tonight, no extra treats as eaten far too much today already.Very Happy

If you can't sleep and there are others on line then have a natter here.

Night Night, & Sweet Dreams.

Re:
Blackbird's Avatar No snow here but heavy rain expected- snow in the mountainsVery Happy I think that the temperatures have eased in the rest of the country- thank goodness.

I'm glad that you had a nice day out with your family- even if you couldn't spend time outside. But sometimes it's exciting to be nestled indoors and watch it all unfold outside- until you have to go to the carVery Happy

I've had a very lazy week here- enjoying Sam's return to school and some empty time to read and organize- my goal for this year (a repeat from last yearVery Happy) Plenty to organize from my file cabinet that holds old papers while my new papers are stacked in odd corners of the room to my fabric and yarn stashes to my photos on the computer.

No organizing in my dreams,
sweet dreams to you, owls and larks.

Re:
Fennie's Avatar I have never been to the Norfolk Broads for some reason, though I must have been all around them. Are they really 'Broad?' Or are they like the Downs which I always thought as a child should be called the 'Ups' as they were higher than everything else.Very HappyVery Happy

Re:
Cadfael's Avatar Camilla all these photos are making me discontented....... I love all the white wood painted furniture and all the candle and light fittings etc. I really must pull my finger out and brighten up my furniture.
