Cowart's Common Room
I Can't Sleep Chat Post

Hello Owls,

Saw some little Robins in the garden yesterday, other birds too feasting on the red berries, Pigeons tucking into some of the windfalls on the lawn I left on the ground too. Very frosty in the mornings so always clear out the bird bath and top up with fresh water for my feathered friends.

Kettle is on for a cuppa before lamps out later, if you can't sleep and there are others on line then have a natter here.

Night Night, & Sweet Dreams.

Camilla's Avatar No decorations to take down tonight, shall keep my little wooden church lit on the window sill, so pretty and love to see it's twinkling lights. Always have some candles lit too and I was very lucky this year from a kind SS to receive such lovely scented jasmine ones.

Fennie's Avatar That's so lovely, Camilla.

Our robins had a shock when the bird feeder became a recent casualty of the storms, blowing off the tree and smashing. We have a new one now: it is yellow and I bought a purple one for nuts. Purple Coo colours they may be but this morning when I looked out I though they looked rather garish. The old bird feeder was a comforting shade of British Racing Green, which blended in hugely better. Still we shall see. There is always paint isn't there?Very Happy

Camilla's Avatar Hello Fennie,

Our tall bird table blew over too in the winds I noticed when we had returned from Surrey recently, it could do with a lick of paint too.

You could always keep the yellow and purple one and perhaps buy another one in green later, colours seem cheery. Check out the Garden Cuprinol Furniture paint, they have some good shades of green I think.
