Re:
Blackbird's Avatar Lucky you, Camilla and you must have been very good this year to get an Ipad from Santa. Well, we could vouch for you, if needed.

I love my Ipad and have spent way too many hours with it since May. It doesn't take the place of my computer but then, it doesn't have too.

I woke up this morning and wondered for a bit just what day it was. Having the holidays mid-week leaves me thinking every day is Saturday or not. I did figure it outVery Happy

I hope that Puffin and Frances will be safe and warm during the storm in the East. Our weather is mid-40's here with rain- what else?

Off to book and bed,
sweet dreams, owls and larks.

Re:
Fennie's Avatar Hallo Camilla, Hallo Blackbird!

Lovely iPad present. Haven't got an iPad, preferring a laptop with real keyboard. But people say they are great machines. Sorry that it is raining for you Blackbird. It is raining here too. Heavily. So much rain. Will the Atlantic never empty? But your rain probably comes from the Pacific. I wonder if there is a difference. In smell, in the size of droplets, in the bugs in the raindrops (there must be some), in the acidity? I always think that God was being particularly ingenious to invent this water recycling system. You wouldn't believe rain, would you, if you hadn't experienced it before. Say if you came from a dry planet. 'Oh yeah? I mean how would the clouds stay up laden with all that rain.' I still don't know the answer to that; nor why all the rain doesn't fall at once on the first mountain? Why does the same cloud produce continuing amounts of rain as though it was magicking up the stuff as it went along. And why are snow clouds grey, when snow is white. Indeed why should you see clouds at all when rain is colourless? I am still a child at heart asking questions.Very HappyVery Happy

Re:
Camilla's Avatar Love the iPad Fennie but must admit I am just getting used to the touch screen, old pc has keyboard to it. Ah yes, there is still lots to learn and about the weather, I am too a child at heart and keep asking questions.

Great too Cadfael for storing pics on too.

Pray that folk over the pond are safe, such severe weather lately, do hope Frances and Puffin are alright.

What book are you reading at the moment BB?
