Re:
Faith's Avatar Christmas is a lot of work isnt it..... for me it means rearranging the whole cottage practically so I can decorate one room. Very glad to get back to normal now - i'm hoping to somehow lose the weight from all that cream, mincepies, ferroro rocher etc etc.... oh dear.

Re:
Westerwitch's Avatar We should now have the discussion as to when 12th night is. We are clinging to the fact we are on holiday so not taking the tree down until Sunday.

Re:
Withy Brook's Avatar Decorations up on Christmas Eve (I admit that we do it a little earlier) and come down on twelfth night, Jan 5th. Otherwise, life does return to something like normal.

Re:
CalicoKate's Avatar Yep ours still up although as the tree lights have gone phut I confess to wanting to take that down as it is a bit flat, but haven't yet raised any energy for it so it is still there. Planning to take things down on Sunday, ready to be magically organised and full of enthusiasm without black cloud bearing down. Not sure if that is likely to be the case but you never know.

Re:
Blackbird's Avatar I'm taking our tree down tomorrow- no tradition as to when that happens. I love having it up and also love the sense of lightness when it's out the door.
I do leave my fairy lights up above by windows from November until March- I find it helps the short winter daysVery Happy
