Cowart's Common Room
I Can't Sleep Chat Post

Greetings Owls,

How lovely to see the baby Royal Prince with his parents William and Kate on the news coverage yesterday evening before they drove the journey onto Kensington Palace. Interesting that Kate was wearing a blue and white spot dress, Diana was wearing a green and white spot dress when William was born.

Quite a humid day weather wise here in Norfolk.

The plumber is arriving later today...... tap problems.!

Capacinno tonight with fairy cakes, plenty for owls and larksVery Happy

If you can't sleep and there are others on line then have a natter here.

Night Night, & Sweet Dreams.

Re:
Fennie's Avatar Hi Camilla, is that Jonathan Miller autobiography? Do tell us whether you enjoy it. Hope the plumber fixes your tap without charging you a fortune!

Re:
Camilla's Avatar Hi Fennie, it is Jonathan Miller's biography, so not written by himself, I have it on loan from my local library but the book is soo wonderful I am thinking of buying it from Amazon later this year. Sometimes you read a book no matter what the subject and you just have to have it near you again to dip into. I thoroughly recommend it Fennie.

A wonderfully researched portrait of Miller, fabulously written by Kate Bassett.

Re:
Camilla's Avatar I heard it last night on Classic FM radio FN, and thought what a beautiful piece it was I just had to put it on owl post.Very Happy

Taps fixed Fennie..... new washers, but the main loo to the cottage will not flush properlyBlink plumber has had a look and also the footings outside with drainage, put a long pipe thingy in to try and find out if something is stuck there but still no answer to problem. Now thinking that perhaps one of the garden ivy roots has lodged it's way up into the drain pipe, just hope it's not a rat.! Plumber advised us to get in touch with our supplier of water and make a claim on our water insurance. We have 50 excess on it and the remaining bill paid to our plumber will be settled by our insurance company. Luckily we have a downstairs loo we can use in the meantime, otherwise it does not bear thinking about!
