Cowart's Common Room
I Can't Sleep Chat Post

Hello Owls,

Apologies for not being on the perch on Monday night, a rather sleepy Owl and hopped into bed early. Thank you dear Fennie for posting for all the Larks.Very Happy

An absolutely fabulous day yesterday, spent the day with my daughter on the Norfolk Broads, splendid lunch by the river where many boats were sailing. Wonderful wildlife of Canadian Geese, Ducks, Swans and Coots. Two of those Ducks decided to join me in my lunch, one even tapped me on the knee.Very Happy all made perfect with glorious sunshine, heaven.!

If you can't sleep and there are others on line then have a natter here.

Night Night, & Sweet Dreams.

Blackbird's Avatar Another sleepy owl here too- last night I awoke from napping in my chair and only could make it as far as my bedVery Happy I blame the long hours of sunshine- by the time it begins to get dark, it is quite late..... not that I'm complaining. It just seems to bring an abrupt end to the day.

Camilla, it sounds like a wonderful day out that you had with you daughter and lucky that the duck just did a little peck. I think that sometimes they can become quite territorial and then- watch out!

I had my hair cut today and am very happy to have it trimmed off- now tomorrow morning I will have to color it. My hair grows so fast that it needs a trim every 4 weeks. I was talking with a friend and she only has hers cut every 10 weeks with a color every 5. And her hair is short like mineShocked I wonder how much of my energy is going into growing hair that I could be using for something else?Very Happy

Off to bed,
sweet dreams, owls and larks.

Fennie's Avatar Sounds as though you had a lovely, relaxing and restful day with your family, Camilla. Never been to the Norfolk Broads. Must go there someday. Always seems a wonderful place, with the boats and reeds and wildlife.

There must be something in the air, Blackbird. I am off later today to have my hair cut, too.

Camilla's Avatar Yes BB, those Ducks can be quite territorial, lots in the pecking order over food.Very Happy

I am to have colour later this month re hair, have had it short for 10 years now, trying to grow it just a wee longer.

Very stuffy at night when sleeping, pollen count is high which affects my hayfever, fan in my room tonight me thinks.Very Happy
