Cowart's Common Room
From my bathroom window - not

Uploaded Image

Inspired by Faiths photo of the view from her bedroom window, I thought I would take a photo from my bathroom window of someone baling hay in the field at the back of our house. (Yes, yes, I know that's not the photo... keep reading) So I dashed upstairs to take the photo. I hung out of the window to get a really good shot, just had it lined up, then... beep, beep 'battery depleted' and the camera closed down.

The battery wasn't anywhere near depleted yesterday. Why do batteries do that? It's one second, go ahead, do what you like, I have more than half charge left. Then two seconds later it's goneEvil or Very Mad

Anyhow, here's a photo of a swan and her cygnets taken on my recent holiday in the Cotswolds. (When the camera was fully charged)

KitKatCot's Avatar Sorry, afraid not. The field is cleared and he's gone home and the battery is still charging. But I'll try to do one of the cleared field tomorrow. It won't be the same somehowConfused

Faith's Avatar Never mind KKC. What mostly happens to me is the doves do something interesting and rush inside for my camera, rush back, switch it on, and find I forgot to replace the card.... and if the card is in, the birds have stopped being interesting!

Pimsonthelawn's Avatar View from my bedroom window twenty minutes ago, two police response cars, blue lights, sirens, surrounding a pickup with five men inside, eek, I can't sleep now.

Lovely picture KKC. Are those daisies on the bank, not seen many this year.

Blackbird's Avatar Three babies but they seem calm and well behaved- and adorable.

My little camera has taken to balking at turning on- very unhandy for a quick photo. And my android phone just seems awkward to use- not as all as much fun as my daughter has with her iphone.

I would love to look out over fields...
