Cowart's Common Room
Mystery Monday

Fennie is the closest so far... but not quite there.
Older than Castles and Dungeons and very few left still standing even as ruins.

Lampworkbeader's Avatar It's not the Grey Cairns at Camster. Is it something to do with brochs?

Camilla's Avatar Not a Mill Wheel then, thought it could have been a Grist Mill, or Water Mill. Nothing to do with Moats, I give up.!Very Happy

Well done Fennie it's the second floor (or at least whats left of it) of the Carloway Broch on Lewis.
The one at Mousa on Shetland is the most complete, I would love to see it one day, amazing structures to have lasted since the iron age considering they are made like dry stone dykes.
