Cowart's Common Room
I Can't Sleep Chat Post

Hello Owls,

Apologies for not being able to make it to the perch on Monday night.

Pot of coffee tonight with marshmallows, plenty for owls and larks.

Visit to the Vet later this morning with Daisy to have her nails clipped, mussel on.!

Just going to take a tour of the site before lamps out later.

If you can't sleep and there are others on line then have a natter here.

Night Night, & Sweet Dreams.

Re:
Blackbird's Avatar What strange and magical creatures those owls areVery Happy And they seem to be young ones- a little tentative on their perch. Thanks for sharing them.

I hope your eye is better tomorrow- warm compresses help a lot as you probably well know given your nursing background. And good luck with the vet and Daisy- just don't let them put you in a room to work onVery Happy

Lovely painting tonight that reminds me of a friend's Magnolia tree- big fuzzy buds that swell and swell and then unfurl into papery blossoms.

Take care,
Sweet dreams, owls and larks.

Re:
Arosebyanyothername's Avatar Nice little owl video - thank you. They don't do much, though, do they? Except contemplate their navels - metaphorically speaking, of course, and make adjustments to their position on their perches. Laughing Perhaps they are thinking deep thoughts.

We have an Eagle Owl loose about the city just now avoiding all attempts by it's owner to come homeRolling Eyes

Hope your eye is better soon Camilla, and I love the painting too.

Re:
Fennie's Avatar Poor eye, Camilla. Hope it's better soon.

As for not speaking....

A wise old owl sat in an oak
The more he saw the less he spoke
The less he spoke the more he heard
Now wasn't that a wise old bird?
