Cowart's Common Room
It's sunny - what are you doing?

It's sunny but still cold here. I am writing a letter to my three sisters, (two of the three are not on email) and doing a few sorting out chores while Bill is out visiting a friend.

I always hear 'time's winged chariot, hurrying near' - whatever I am doing I always think I should be doing something else or achieving more. So I better crack on!

Fennie's Avatar You already are a wonderful person, Faith. There's no need to do more. Just keep an eye open for Fennie dove returning.

Westerwitch's Avatar Sunday is the only day that I come close to managing to not feeling guilty for just relaxing. I am playing on FB and catching up. I have cake to deliver to some friends later and the recycling to do although there is very little so may not bother and I am thinking about my panel for my Fellowship. I have mounted all the small images I did so can play with the mini panel and change some of the images before sorting and sending the real thing along with the new statement.

We're actually doing some photo restoration for an old friend of his Father and Uncle who were both Lieutenant colonels in the South Nottingham Hussars in both Worls Wars... some interesting tales he's been telling usVery Happy
The photos are going to the regimental museum.

Re:
Camilla's Avatar A little sun today although a lot colder than yesterday, probably due to some mist we have. Two lots of walkies with Daisy over the woods, then began clearing out my wardrobes, like you Rosie.! still not finished but can wait for another day. My friend's friend runs a vintage charity clothes shop in Norfolk so I will be giving the clothes to her.

Re:
Withy Brook's Avatar Lovely day here too. Went out to lunch with my ex nephew, and wife and ex brother in law and wife, in P's house with a marvellous view of part of Northumberland. The 18 wind turbines, though near, are not visible, I am glad to say.
I love my bil and wife and family very much and they still look on me as a sil, which is really nice. Luckily, G likes them too. Bil made a miraculous recovery from near death 18 months ago, so he is especially precious to us all.

Re:
Blackbird's Avatar A long weekend here so a lazy day filled with cooking and baking, walks with Jack. Tomorrow, laundry, shopping and returning Sam to school. Weather has been pleasant enough for some gardening and the extra light- morning and evening- is well appreciated.
