Cowart's Common Room
Goings On

Camilla has just reminded us how quiet it is on the site at the moment so here's a post. About a post indeed, for I blogged yesterday about hypochondria and I also took a last lingering look at the Mill. I seem to have written yet another blog that makes me sound glum for which I am sure that Rosie at least will upbraid me. But I am not really glum at all - that's just the way my writing comes out these days. I am actually quite a happy bunny, toiling away at Boraya, my novel - of which I am about a third of the way through the rewrite. I still don't know what the book is about, I mean really about to the extent that I can write a cute synopsis.
I suppose it might be sub-titled 'Fairy Godmother Works Overtime' or 'Fairy Godmother Versus The Tiresome World.' Anyway, last night I went to see 'The Life of Pi' and I'm not sure I understood that either, but both the photography and the acting were quite magnificent. I am now waiting for Lincoln and the thirteenth amendment.

Anybody else seen these films?

Fairy Nuff's Avatar A little melancholic perhaps Fennie but not glumVery Happy
I know what you mean about ADHD or AD without the HD I'm always moving onto something new before finishing what I've started (I'm not sure 10 years would count as a short enough period for AD though!)
We were very sad to see our favourite holiday haunt be sold, especially as it is only used for 2 or 3 weeks in the year by the new owners who decided their Daughters 11 bedroom house wasn't big enough for them to stay in while visiting so bought the 5 beddroom one next door!Rolling Eyes

Re:
Camilla's Avatar Not glum at all dear Fennie, just a tad melancholy. I have wrote a message on your blog Fennie.

Have not seen the films Fennie, I see though there is mixed reviews about Stephen Speilburg's film of Lincoln.
