1st Feb - so what is still....

Lingering from Christmas?

I will be honest - we have two boxes of decs still to go up into the loft!Embarassed

As to other things, there is an unopened and probably never to be eaten candy cane in the kitchen, and several fancy cheeses in the fridge... that we probably will eat!

Peterwf's Avatar We have 3 individual Christmas puddings, one from 2011.
And there is a slab of Christmas cake from M&S.
The cards are down, the tree never went up.....

Vic's Avatar I still have the box of decorations to go in the loft. The tree is lying in the is last years (chopped up though). Someone sent us a card with 'Merry Christmas' confetti in it. I keep finding plastic 'merry Christmas' bits around the house!

Withy Brook's Avatar A little of the Christmas cake left but it is still getting eaten and is still very good!
All the Christmas Cards, waiting for me to cut the bits off with clear backs that can be used as shopping lists etc during the year. The bits with pictures on or writing, go for recycling.
Christmas card and present lists book has yet to go back to my office.

Fennie's Avatar Still eating the Panatoni. Various cheeses, patÚs and pickles lying about which will disappear to various destinations in due course. All the decs are safely put away, the tree recycled. A presents list book is an excellent idea, Withy.

Fairy Nuff's Avatar Food's all gone but we still have 2 bottles of Eos to drinkVery Happy
Decorations have reached the cupboard but not the loft (the loft hatch is in the cupboard).
Cards are waiting for me to go through my list before recycling as part of the "did they send one or not" trimming of the list.
Secret Santa present is still languishing in a sorting office somewhere I fear... or someone took a liking to itSad

Camilla's Avatar I always think old Christmas cards make good tags to pop on presents, some of the cards are so pretty, could be just cut into small squares and insert a hole and loop with fine silk ribbon.

Good idea about the present list book Withy, I usually just note down on piece of paper, a good tip Withy for this Christmas.!

Perhaps ask Faith, FN about your secret santa, I sent a large brown envelope well padded and safely taped up to a friend, (not SS), it was posted to another country. They received the envelope but sadly it had been ripped open and the contents had been removed. I contacted the post office to make a complaint and filled in form.
