Our first View of the "Ring of Bright Water" after a morning photographing documents, paintings, drawings (and even his school tuck box!) we tromped down the forest track in the sweltering sunshine...yes it is still quite a tromp Withy, perhaps a nice boat trip next timeVery Happy

The meadow is all that's left of the house site and the Big Boulder marks where they buried his ashes...Edal the otter is buried under the tree (Teko who survived the fire is on the Island we stay on).

After we finished the inside stuff I couldn't resist a wee seat at his desk...the photo on the desk is of him leaning againsed the same window.

Fairy Nuff's Avatar It was fun if exhausting and I pulled a groin muscle coming back up the path so HO went and brought the car down the forestry track to rescue me! (thank heaven for 4WDs)

ROBW was the first grown up book I ever read, and I loved it so a trip to "Camusfearna" was a great treat.
