Fairy Nuff's Avatar The next batch is even brighter CGVery Happy
I think that's what I love about felt, the juicy colours to work with.

Arosebyanyothername's Avatar I must have another go at this - my first efforts were rather crude. I liked the pictures you did perhaps I could try that. I bought a bag of wool and I can't let it go to waste.

Fairy Nuff's Avatar Lots of the "how to"s I've seen on the web use a rediculous amount of wool, as did I the first time and it's almost impossible to get the soap to come through when you try to use it afterwards.
I put on 6 whispy layers in alternate directions and then add any decoration.

CalicoKate's Avatar I haven't tried this not knowing quite where to stop when the soap starts to sud up!

Fairy Nuff's Avatar Just keep squidging till the "Jacket" fits and doesn't move about anymore CK.
Felters tip...I keep a large bowl for depositing the suds into so I can see what I'm doing. They break down into soapy water that can be used to felt something else with after a day or two (I reheat it in the microwave and so far it hasn't tainted the lunch!)
