Cowart's Common Room

Hello from a very late owl.!

Apologies for not being on the site lately or indeed this famous perch, lots of problems these last days with internet connections, is patience a virtue.... pooh.!Smile

Huge thank you to Blackbird for posting for the owls, sooo kind.

I see there is a new programme next week of The Great British Bake with the lovely Mary Berry, love that programme.

Rescued a sweet little Wired Haired Fox Terrier yesterday running along the road without his owner. Luckily he had a contact number on his collar and the owner was soo happy to know he was safe. Lovely kind lady came to collect him within two minutes locally, I found a lovely thank you card and a pot of home made jam on my doorstep this morning.

If you can't sleep and there are others on line then have a natter here.

Night Night, & Sweet Dreams.

Blackbird's Avatar Maybe that's my daughter dreaming of her new gardenVery Happy A real dream.

Good to see you here, Camilla but you must get your internet sorted out- how frustrating! Things are rambling along here- our summer has arrived and my niece is in town for a wedding tomorrow.

Very exciting news- Sam was accepted for both of his programs so his summer break is turning into orientations and meetings with advisers but he is very pleased (as am I). He's helping his sister lay a patio at her house- she is planning a party for her 30th birthday- before the end of the month so fingers crossed that it will get done in time.

How lucky that little dog was to find you while he was out on his adventure. His owner must have been so relieved- I know that I would be. Did Daisy get a chance to meet him?

I'm getting sleepier earlier as the days get shorter- only natural, I guess.

With a yawn, sweet dreams, owls and larks.

Fairy Nuff's Avatar I'm sure Mary Berry must be about 103 by now she seems to have been in my Mums magazines foreverLaughing
Nice the little dog got home safely and I bet was spoiled rotten while he was with you.
Well done Sam, nice to have a choice of where to go. I had a choice too and in hindsight picked the wrong one...I should have gone to Rambet insteadRolling Eyes

Fairy Nuff's Avatar Well deduced Sir!
Yes I had a choice of Rambert, Laban or Leicester Poly. Chose Laban as they were supposed to have a better handle on the choreography side but didn't...should have gone to Rambert instead (hindsight is a wonderfull thing!)

Camilla's Avatar Thank you BB, well done to your son Sam too. Daisy I'm afraid is not very sociable with other dogs, she thinks she is top dog.Smile so I had to separate her from the doggie and we sat in the gardens to wait for his owner.

Thank you FN, think Mary Berry is around the age of 75, I remember her being on the telly with Judith Chalmers many years ago in the seventy's.
