Cowart's Common Room

Hello Owls,

Weather quite warm and muggy yesterday, rain.!

Watched the women's rowing and how wonderful that they have got their first Gold medal for GB, well done to them.

Lamps out soon and off to bed with book, there is a huge full Moon tonight.

If you can't sleep and there are others on line then have a natter here.

Night Night, & Sweet Dreams.

Congrats GB on the rowing, and well done to NZ on the equestrian - our first medal.

Fennie's Avatar What an empty room. A room that drags minutes into hours!

Fairy Nuff's Avatar I was thinking how cool and quiet it looked FennieLaughing
Perhaps she only agreed to pose if she could do some sewing to save getting bored.
Lovely moon last night, watched it lighting the fields all the way home from Spey Bay last night.

Camilla's Avatar Fennie - I agree, that shelve by the window is crying out for more pottery too. Windows perhaps dressed in country rose cotton fabric drapes would be fitting to be more cheerful, anyway a solitary moment of knitting, perhaps she has Mozart music playing in the background.

Congrats NZ on the Equestrian your first medal BB.Smile

Yes, lovely big moon last night FN as you say.

Blackbird's Avatar Sorry to be late to the perch- I fell asleep on the sofa.Very Happy

I'm not bothered by the emptiness and quiet of the painting- the light just glows with a cold northern feel and I can see her sitting close to the window when knitting with black yarn. And I'm sure that she would love some Mozart being played.
