Cowart's Common Room
Coffee Anyone

Good Morning from a very hot Norfolk,Smile

Coffee to go round, if not plenty of earl grey.

What are your plans for the day? Off to our Wednesday Village Market later this morning to seek out some home produce from the WI and so see if I can get some Marigold plants. I popped into our DIY shop yesterday and said to the lady behind the counter..... Hi Michelle, do you have any Marigolds for sale? she said...... what size gloves do you wan't?Very HappyVery Happy it reminded me of that clip with Ronnie Corbett when he went into the DIY shop and asked for handles and he was given candles.... noooo, not candles, I mean door handles.Very Happy

Fennie's Avatar Oh please, Camilla. Do hope you are feeling better. Are we having it in the garden on that delightful sofa. Do hope your hand is more comfy now.

Camilla's Avatar Coming right up then Fennie.Very Happy thank you feeling little better today, what is the weather like in your neck of the woods.?

Yes, Lilly, absolute classic sketch.

Drinks served most definately in the garden on the sofa under the ancient bramley where it is shaded more from the hot sun.

Fennie's Avatar In summer when the sun is hot
I sit in my office and perspire a lot.
I'd like a garden and a cool long drink
Or to sit on the drainer with my feet in the sink
But there's so much work I have to do
For the theatre, the labels, my writing, too
But no more can I take, I must away
And find somewhere cooler for the rest of the day.
