Cowart's Common Room
Don't give up on Purple Coo

I haven't been around much recently on PC or Facebook. It's the time of year. I've had constant visitors and been away myself. In a weeks time I''ll start to have a stream of grandchildren either to stay or for days. All those grown up kids of mine having to work and thinking their Mum doesn't. Completely forgetting all the things I have to do, like grow vegetables, and write my 'show stopping' novel and make glass beads ... I usually nip over to Purple Coo first, then look on face book. PC has far more significance for me than Face Book has. I'd hate it to just fold.
Without PC and the window it provided for my ( sadly neglected) blog I'd never have started to write anything, let alone have short stories published or start on a novel. I sell my beads via another exPC person too. Over the past few years I've made loads of friends - some I've met - some I haven't. So don't lets give up on PC Okay!
Love Lampie
By the way ... have you finished the Summer read yet Hmm! A puzzling little book.

Re:
Fennie's Avatar Ditto! But I haven't even started the Summer Read. Oh dear and I have just ordered another book from Amazon - the Madonnas of Leningrad. Recommended to me by dear Pondside, sometime of this place.
