Cowart's Common Room

Hello to the Owls,!

Good to be back on the perch with you, and thank you kindly again BB for all that you do in posting when I have not been able to make it.

The Gardener arrived on Saturday morning very early to cut the vast hedging, luckily the weather was dry so that's one job done until the next cut later in the year.

Has anyone heard how our dear Tiggy is, I hope she is progressing well and resting up.

I hope you had a lovely weekend Owls.

Kettle is boiling for a cuppa before lamps out soon.

If you can't sleep and there are others on line then have a natter here.

Night Night, & Sweet Dreams.

Blackbird's Avatar How great to see you on the perch, Camilla. And here's hoping for the summer sun to make it's appearance across all of Great Britain- for the Olympics, for the gardens, for the sake of everyone's mental health- summer can't really be summer without some warmth.

It was cool here today so I did some baking- brownies and anise seed biscotti. The biscotti spend time in the cooling oven and since I have a gas stove- that's where I leave them. They stay crispy and just a bit warm from the pilot light- and hidden from most of the cookie jar marauders.

I've started in on last year's Torchwood series and this time, finally, Sam is watching with me.

Some gardening planned for the next couple of days- oh, to have a gardener like yours.

Sleep well and sweet dreams, owls and larks.

Fennie's Avatar Yes we had a few hours yesterday of dry sunny weather during which time I managed to cut the jungle length grass.

Withy Brook's Avatar I got my walk in the fine but then didn't get any gardening done. Oh for the day when the walk is not a compulsory part of the physio Rolling Eyes
I keep wondering about Tiggy. She occasionally appears then disappears for ages. If you are around, Tiggy dear, do please let us know.

Pimsonthelawn's Avatar I have also wondered what has happened to Lawerlady it must be several months since she was in hospital.

Time soon goes over Withy and you will soon be rid of the physio.
