Cowart's Common Room
Owl Post

Talent hits a target no one else can hit; Genius hits a target no one else can see.

Arthur Schopenhauer

I looked for a photo for tonight's perch and spent a few minutes going down memory lane and then reminded myself that I really should spend some time organizing them- I've let them get away from me.

So, another quote as a followup to the one the other night- I love thoughtful quotes and have begun collecting them into a file on my desktop. I sometimes wonder if the person credited actually said or wrote the quote but with a great quote- maybe it doesn't matter.

My neighbor invited me out to dinner last night to thank me for taking care of her garden for a month last summer. It was a real treat- not only for the food but for the company. Many a visit we have had on the street in front of our houses- in all kinds of weather- but for a chance to sit and chat in comfort watching the rain beat the windows- very nice indeed.

Sweet dreams all of you owls and larks.

Re:
Fennie's Avatar Reminds me of that saying attributed to Henry Ford: "If before I started making motor cars I had asked my customers what they wanted they would have said a faster horse."

Re:
Camilla's Avatar Thank you for posting for the owls Blackbird, connection was not good last night, waiting for new broadband package on Tuesday.

There are lots of wonderful quotes, some too that say they are Anonymous, I always wonder who those Anonymous folk were but then they wan't to keep things secret I suppose, or the true identity of the person who wrote a quote perhaps has been lost in the ether.

Re:
CalicoKate's Avatar That sounds like a lovely evening BB.
I think you need to join Pinterest if you haven't yet as there are LOADS of quotes to make a note of on there.
