Cowart's Common Room

Second sunny day here, tempted to cast off my vest.
Off to view a house with a "Jack & Jill "bathroom- very intriguing. Google says it's a bathroom with 2 sets of doors, I thought it might mean adjacent washbasins. Just shows how wrong one can be when not up on all the latest design terminology.

Jaynebeth's Avatar My vest is still tucked in - the green & pleasant land is still grey & misty - hopefully it'll clear for the Cheltenham Races later

Lily's Avatar Are you placing any bets? (horses not vests)

Withy Brook's Avatar You naughty girl, Lily, suggesting taking off your vest before the Head permits it! Do you hear that chainsaw whirring?

Fennie's Avatar She only said she was tempted. Even good girls can be tempted. And she was looking at bathrooms.

Milla's Avatar we put one of those in when doing the upstairs bit of our extension, a shower room with double sink and loo with a door from each child's bedroom into it - 2 sinks = no (or fewer) arguments!
Are you going to the races, JB? My dear friend is taking me on Thursday. Looking forward to it. Went with her last year and it was a great day.

Lily's Avatar Have removed vest as now very hot + bothered trying to replace strimmer spool on what is laughingly called an "easy trim". A misnomer if ever there was one.

Mountainear's Avatar We have a 'jack and jill' shower room - quite a useful way of providing an accessible en suite for two bedrooms. In truth it rarely gets used by both rooms at once.

Vest still on here - am hedging my bets as to the arrival of warmer weather. Yes, yesterday was beautiful but today saw us engulfed in damp fog until early afternoon.

Fairy Nuff's Avatar Mine is very firmly still on as are my sheepskin they have been de-flea'd (MILs cat left us some little friends behind when she was rehomed so her house has now been"bombed" and boots heartily sprayed)Rolling Eyes

Westerwitch's Avatar Yikes - do we need to de-flea the Common Room . . .

Posted by: Westerwitch on 13th Mar 2012 at 10:27AM

Fairy Nuff's Avatar No, just a couple of hitch hikers in my boots that were rapidly dealt with on returning home...unless Tiddles has picked up anyConfused

The house had been cat-less for a week when we went back for the funeral so the little boggers were ravenousEvil or Very Mad
