Cowart's Common Room
I CAN'T SLEEP CHAT POST

Good Evening Owls,

Watched the film footage on BBC1 yesterday evening of that incredible man - David Walliams on swimming the River Thames for charity. I saw parts of it being filmed when he began the swim a while back but this footage was the whole of his swim. Such a lovely man, what compassion and determination in reaching his goal for the aid of a very important cause.

Switched over to BBC2 and watched that very very funny comedienne - Sarah Millican who has bagged her first own show, I was in stitches.!Smile

So.... if you had to choose a favourite comedian, who's would your's be?

Daisy has had the last of her medication now and happy to say she is in fine form, very good news indeed.

See you later Owly's.

If you can't sleep and there are others on line then have a natter here.

Night Night, & Sweet Dreams.

Inthemud's Avatar Yes, I watched David Walliams too, he was amazing, recorded Sarah millican, she is very funny. I like a lot of the current comedians- John Bishop, Michael McIntyre, Miranda Hart, Lee Mack & Tim Vine, and many more

Glad Daisy better xx

Re:
Fairy Nuff's Avatar Yes Muddie we have a good bunch around just now don't we. Much like in the 80s with Rowan Atkinson and the not the nine O'clock new team.
If I had to pick an all time favourite it would have to be Eddie Izzard though...see I knew I was a bit of a rebel...just a little oneWink

Re:
Fairy Nuff's Avatar Actually if any of you were watching the "Great British Countryside" last night the hairy one with the Dolphins at Fort George was Him Outdoors!

(we still think the original title "Naked Britain" was better but they didn't want people to get the wrong idea)Blink

Mountainear's Avatar Watched David Walliams and was much impressed - so determined. A witty and all round good guy. Loved his mum too!

Re:
Camilla's Avatar Muddie, I like all those ones too.... I think John Bishop is quite dishy.! think he was on the One Show last week with his leg in plaster.... got from fall in doing a charity event.

FN, Rowan Atkinson's clips are soo funny, have his DVD's here, and yes, Eddie Izzard is amazing.

I watched the programme at Forte George, very interesting, yes it was the comedian - Hugh Dennis.

I think David Walliams deserves a medal Mountainear, think he should be knighted for it too.
