Cowart's Common Room
I CAN'T SLEEP CHAT POST

Hello Owls,

Hooray, no more rain yesterday after constant rain for two days. The strong winds have ceased too, even the little Robins appeared again on the bird-table to feast.

I watched the second part of Junior Doctors on BBC3 where a bunch of qualified Doctors were on the wards at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. Then followed by another programme written by Lynda La Plante, two hour drama and very nerve chilling to say the least.!

If you can't sleep and there are others on line then have a natter here.

Night Night, & Sweet Dreams.

Re:
Blackbird's Avatar You are a true night-owl Camilla. It's just gone 8:30 here and I am yawning already. My day started with a dusting of snow and ended with bright sunshine and warmer temps- I would know it was almost spring even if I hadn't seen the earliest little tulips and daffodils on my morning walk. Thank goodness that they don't seem bothered by the wild weather.

I hope Daisy is doing well after her pills and tender care. Jack woke this morning with a fright and headed for the closet as soon as I opened my bedroom door- it's too bad that he can't tell me what worries him so. Maybe there was a bit of thunder with the snow.

Well, off to book and bed- I'm reading The Black House by Peter May, a bit of a grim tale set on the Isle of Lewis.
Sweet dreams owls and larks alike.

Re:
Fennie's Avatar By the time I've looked at this the forenoon will be half over.

My initial reaction is why is her head on the wrong way round? But it is the way she is standing and the cut of the dress which almost seems to give her a bust on her back. It is though a beautiful dress and she can wear such a feminine dress even with her masculine deportment all of which hints at an upbringing among the high aristocracy. An Earl or a Duchess somewhere in the background and brothers in the far flung reaches of empire. Of course she may herself be in those reaches. She is clearly used to command so perhaps she's a mem-sahib and she's now in a hill station, Simla, perhaps, with its manicured lawns and armies of servants. That is why she is inside: to protect her face from the heat and why she wears the white dress. All the same she tries to keep an eye on the gardeners. They are often careless with the gladioli.

Re:
Camilla's Avatar Daisy much better thank you Blackbird, only more tablet left to take, and no more coughing which is good. Aw, bless little Jack, perhaps he woke up with a nasty dream... I am sure doggies have dreams too.

Fennie - what a wonderful description of story to the pic above, I just love hearing them from you. Hope you will be writing another children's story soon for you truly are a gifted writer.

Re:
Blackbird's Avatar At first glance, I was wondering if her head was on backwards too Fennie. And Camilla, good to hear that Daisy is almost done with her pills and I'm sure that dogs have dreams
