Cowart's Common Room
Today my sandwich will be wearing....

Still no food in the house...no time to shop whilst assignment deadlines loom large. Therefore one has to become inventive in the sarnie making department and use up existing stock.

After much rummaging at the back of the fridge...today's speciality is:-

Seafood sticks and tartare sauce sandwiches...ta - dah.

...and jolly tasty they are tooVery Happy.

Re:
Salle de Bain's Avatar Nice thick bit of wholegrain Fennie...lashings of butter (naughty nut nice)

No WW...we don't get grocery deliveries from supermarkets here in Southern Ireland. Some of the smaller ones deliver locally but we are out in the sticks...so no joy there.

Actually I am feeling a bit nauseous this evening....could it have something to do with lunch I wonderLaughingLaughingLaughing?

Re:
Camilla's Avatar It's surprising what one can put in a sandwich, I love honey sandwiches, any cucumber left over is good too. Best of luck with the assignment Salle.

Hope the nausea has gone.

Re:
Faith's Avatar Mmm yes, sounds like a good sandwich. I have some crab sticks in the fridge so will try that!

Re:
Arosebyanyothername's Avatar Not for me, thanks. I don''t like sea-food sticks in any guise. As I live a few hundred yards from a small supermarket I don't have a problem of choice. We can even get ready made sandwiches.
I hope you are feeling better. Read today that about 80% od oysters have food-poisoning bugs!Shocked

Re:
KitKatCot's Avatar 'Necessity is the Mother of invention' I have made some of my best meals using the remains in the fridge.

Re:
Fennie's Avatar I feel we shouldn't forget Little Shimsha. Maybe he could lend a few oats and thence porridge, flapjacks, oatcakes (very good with sea-food sticks). And keeps cholesterol at bay. Sorry to hear you may have a bug, Salle. But it may not be anything to do with the sea food.

Rosie, the great thing about oysters, though, is that there is always the chance of a pearl (or so I was taught). Now you don't get pearls in seafood sticks.
