Cowart's Common Room
Good morning

The storm seems to have blown all the clouds away. There have been some floodings (the first this autumn) over the weekend but we weren't affected. Actually I love storms but with the wind blowing the water up the river from the north-sea, storm gets a different taste. OH even let his mobile on while in church because he was expecting an emergency call , which luckily never came.
Hope you and your homes have survived the bad weather unharmed.

Re:
Fennie's Avatar Weather is being kind here. Too kind - which means we are in for a frozen December. But it's almost spring like outside. the grass is lush, flowers still flowering not yet cut down by frost.
But the wind is coming I gather.

Re:
Westerwitch's Avatar It was very windy here over Saturday night - but we have had much worse. If you look at THIS snow is expected by the end of the week.

Re:
Withy Brook's Avatar Violent gale here on Saturday night and plenty of very strong wind yesterday, slowly reducing to fairly calm. Blustery here today.

Re:
Lixtroll's Avatar We had gales on Saturday night which burst open our garage doors - they were flapping about wildly making a terrible din, so I had to go out and bolt them shut again at 4am. It was really scary - moonless, pitch black and wild, and the sky was FULL of stars - terrifying! Scurried back into bed faster than you can imagineShocked
