Cowart's Common Room
Rock Choir

Has anyone on here joined Rock Choir?
I went to a free taster session last week, only to find they were having their dress rehearsal for turning on the town's Xmas lights on Friday at 6pm.
In at the deep end or what!

Still thinking about whether to join, probably will as it is so very different and will hopefully be a laugh. If my children knew about the choreography part they'd be rolling in the aisles as they know their mother has 3 left feet!

I posted this earlier and the embedding failed then the pc website crashed so have only just got it to work.

Re:
KittyB's Avatar Wow - never heard of Rock Choir, looks fab. I love singing but I don't think others would love to hear me sing, I'm not exactly in-key! I am wondering whether to join the parish carol singers this year, but am worried I'd make people slam doors!

Re:
CalicoKate's Avatar Aa take all three feet and jump right in - that is such an amazing thing to be part of. Nothing like that going up here though I might see if there is one going on in Glasgow.

Withy I don't think you're anything of the sort!

Mad me almost tearful actually.

Re:
Westerwitch's Avatar Oh yes go for it.know people that have joined choirs and even operatic groups and locoed it - a rock choir sounds brilliant though.

Let us know what you decide.

Re:
Arosebyanyothername's Avatar Yes, go for it Aa. There is nothing in Wales, apparently. Not that I am seriously thinking of signing up. I have too many things going on as it is and I am directing the Spring Production but it might have been good fun in a choir. Not that I can sing, mind.

Re:
Dancing Dog's Avatar I'd never hear of Rock Choir, it's fantastic!! I think that when times are tough and the future is uncertain, people reaching out to each other can be a really powerful force. Very cool!
