...more snow than WW's two feet as I think she keeps the anti-freeze topped up in that petrol chainsaw of hers at this time of yearShocked.

Approximately six inches of lovely crisp sparkly snow here. The roads are dangerous, but not half as dangerous as allowing yer man to do the shopping on his way homeRolling Eyes

Lordy! Last time I sent him for vegetables he came back with one leek, a mouldy cabbage and a 'rubber' parsnip with more wrinkles than Methuselah. I asked for skimmed milk and got full fat, a french stick and got sliced white and worst of all I asked for a bottle of Merlot & got 4 cans Carlsberg...mmmmm....I wonder who he was really shopping for?

Few more photos in comments....

Re:
Preseli Mags's Avatar I love the snowy moustache and whiskers! It all looks very festive. We've only got a light sprinkling, but it's looking very pretty. WW's snow is so deep now you can only see the very tip of her hat! Laughing

Re:
Withy Brook's Avatar We have had about 5 inches in the night. Measured the depth on the table by the front doo and it is 12", but that is overall woth a tiny bit of thawing. I think WW had more in one go Rolling Eyes

Re:
Toady's Avatar Men do it on purpose you know. They get all the wrong things in the hope that they wont get asked to do it again.
No snow in North Devon but very cold. Love all the snowy pix but I'm hoping that's as close as I'll come this year.

Re:
crikey Withy, you can keep it this year.
The thoughts of frozen fingers from now until April is a grim thought, but the memories of last winter is still a tad fresh in our minds.
Thanks for all the pics.

Re:
Salle de Bain's Avatar Those photos are lovely Withy, and I think you now zoom up to second place...as yours looks at least twice as deep as ours.

Frankly I'm glad to move down to third place...phew...further away from two feet...know what I mean ?

Re:
Dancing Dog's Avatar I'm so envious! I love the first snow, everything looks so pretty. The horse looks like a real character.

Men definitely do that on purpose; Toady is absolutely correct, they think it they do a really bad job of it we won't ask them to do it againEvil or Very Mad

CalicoKate's Avatar Gorgeous pix and no more snow here since yesterday. With blue skies today I don't think we'll be getting anymore.
Loving walking in it though, must recharge camera batteries before it all goes!Rolling Eyes

Re:
Tiggywinkle's Avatar Love your pictures Sallle and Withy. Can't get my head around coming back from Sunny Australia to this freeze up. De Bain sounds like Tigger. A list doesn't even help, but bless him he muffled up and has just come back with the correct ceiling paint.

Re
Silverhead's Avatar Husband and I had to walk to the GP surgery this morning for our 'flue jab.

The world looks truly wonderful but walking on the uncleared pavement when there has been 15 ins of snow is not funny.

However, tomorrow is forecast to be worse, and we have bought in all the extra potatoes , veggies and milk we might need, everything else is in the freezer. So we are prepared.

The grandchildren are to be off school tomorrow ( St Andrew's Day) but if Wednesday is no better, we will be in charge. Happy DaysRolling EyesRolling Eyes.

We should have been minding them today to allow their parents do a bit of Christmas Shopping, but thanks to the snow, there was no easy access to shops and we weren't required.WinkWinkWink.
