Cowart's Common Room
The Prize.

Way back in August when I started the Dukan Diet, and was so pleased with my progress, as a gesture of encouragement to WW, Rosie, and Milla, I said I would send a prize to who ever hit their target. Well the whole thing has been such fun and such a success, I have decided to send a little prezzies to the three of you. I don't have your address Milla, so could you pm it to me. I am stable now, having lost 21lbs, and very happy with my figure. I have had to buy some new clothes, but that is the reward. I encourage those doing it now to stick at it, and you will have lots of encouragement along the way. My total focus is now trying to put that 21 lbs on Tigger, who has lost a lot of weight, but with my new strict Medicinal Nutrition Programme I hope to be successfull, in more ways than one. I am fed up with Consultants playing around with drugs and their awful side effects. I am determined to improve his quality of life, and glad to say he is in much better form, and not driving me mad with tidying my stuff, and throwing things out. etc. I told him if he didn't stop, I'd have to do a runner back to AustraliaLaughing It took me 5 days to reclaim my kitchen, and get everything back to its proper place, so at least I can do all this cooking with joy.

Arosebyanyothername's Avatar That's really sweet of you Tiggy - and what a surprise. I am so glad I have been 'good' all day resisting every temptation and you have spurred me on to keep up the good work. Keeping to the diet is its own reward as you see the pounds tumble and you have shown us how effective it is.
I hope your sterlng efforts withTigger have the desired effect and he is restored to good health.
Jim has been using the kitchen more lately to cook some of his own meals so that I don't have to be faced with his choice of food and my problem is the mess he makes and this evening he used my omlette pan for a fry up. Well, small sacrifice, I guess!

Re:
Westerwitch's Avatar Aw thank you Tiggy . . . we still have to encourage each other through the next two stages it doesn't stop with reaching goal weight . . . if we do then we will all put the weight back on - so lets all keep at it. I will be back on track as soon as I can eat!

I am sure with your dedication Tigger will soon be happily gaining weight.

Guess I am lucky with HS - he both cooks and cleans and tidies up and we both put things in the same place.

Re:
Milla's Avatar wow that is SO kind of you! just flicked on here at the end of the day and what a treat!!!
Really, don't think I could have done all this without you lot, having someone else to whine at / bore / read avidly along with has made it all doable and stopped it seeming an insurmountable mountain (of flesh!)
What a rotten irony that what we desperately try to shift, poor Tigger needs. Good luck with that, and thank you!!
And well done to you, too!!

Frances's Avatar Tiggy, once again you reveal your lovely self.

Best wishes to Tigger. I know that you do indeed know what will be best for him.

Fennie's Avatar Well done, Tiggy. I'm feeling now I should have joined in perhaps! Would love to lose 21 lbs - get me back to the weight I was when I was 21.

Re:
CalicoKate's Avatar Well done to you Tiggy and what a generous thought. Do hope Tigger gets nice and cuddly soonest. Perhaps the Christmas 'extras' will help.
