Introducing Teasel

I have been remiss in not introducing the newest member of my family to you all - well, I don't think I have yet. Although these days the memory's not all it could be...

Re:
Preseli Mags's Avatar What a gorgeous pup! Teasel is the perfect name too. So she's a 'designer' cross - is that a Whiplington or a Bedlingpet?

Re:
Pimsonthelawn's Avatar She is a lovely doggie, hope she is not afraid of fireworks

Re:
KittyB's Avatar She is, alas, afraid of fireworks. Last night was the village bonfire and fireworks - in the field over the (very small) river from our field/garden. So we walked her up out of the village and on to a hill to watch from afar. No blistering heat on one cheek and ice-cold on the other - no craning of the neck to see the display - no deafening noise - no awful smell of the (buffalo) burger van... just the perfect excuse to send the boy to th bonfire with Granny and escape ourselves!
I had no idea she was a designer dog, I just saw a lady with the perfect mutt for me, found out what it was and waited until I found one. She is very very very naughty indeed. It's a good job she's beautiful!

Re:
Frances's Avatar Kitty, I see these photos, and read your descriptions, and just think ... how could I possibly be able to have a dog in this apartment with the hours that I work? Hmmm. How could I move? How could I reduce my work hours.

I've just finished the latest book by Kate Atkinson, Started Early, Took My Dog. It has got a wonderful, mysterious character, who happens to be a dog.
