Favourite Outfit

Do you have a favourite outfit one that you feel 100% comfortable in?

Last year for Christmas (am I allowed to say the C word now) I bought HS a brown Weirdfish top. It was really too big on him and he never wore it. A couple of weeks ago I tried it on . . .BRILLIANT it is like a sloppy Joe tunic on me. . . .instant love. But being the extremist I am I now want to buy a couple more outsized Weirdfish tops and wear them all the time. Oh and I wear leggings with it as well Shocked

Re:
Westerwitch's Avatar If you want a picture of me in it then I will do that later as I now have to go and play cleaner for the guests coming in later today.

See not a piranha in sight . . .

Re:
Arosebyanyothername's Avatar I'll do my favourite item later - but what concerns me now, WW is why you are wearing outsize garments now that you are slim and sylphlike?

Re:
Faith's Avatar I was surprised when I clicked the link and saw the top WW - thought it would be more weird or indeed my fishy!

I think I'm happiest in my dressing gown!Laughing

Re:
Resewnsally's Avatar That top looks so comfy and cosy! I can see why it's a favourite. Smile I don't really have a favourite outfit i'm 100% comfy in, as my weight fluctuates so much and so quickly, what's super comfy one may not be the next. I guess being uncomfortable in my own skin doesn't really help. Rolling Eyes PJ's are usually good though! Very Happy

Re:
Fennie's Avatar Well you could really hide away in that, broomstick, chainsaw and all. What is my favourite outfit? Not sure I have one unless it is the quilted gilet bought as a Charity Shop present by Younger Daughter about three Christmases ago and which I wear non-stop practically from October to April. I like wearing jeans and cashmere, red for preference, but the cashmere always seems to run into holes and the jeans sag with the rest of me. I have some pink chukka boots which are most comfortable and make me look intelligent. I've always fancied a large swirly cape, for some reason, but don't possess one. But it would be great for the theatre.

Re:
Milla's Avatar Each year I seem to get some new thing, generally cheap, and then wear it all the time and wonder whatever I wore before.
This year I bought a long, thin, tunic with roll up arms in dark grey from the Italian market which came to Cheltenham. Under it I wear a French connection soft lacy clingy t-shirt. And fairly skinny jeans. And some odd black short scarf thing with a sort of black crochet fringing, again from the Italian market. I alternate this with a raggedy dark blue top and a lime greenymustardy colour assympetrical cardigan with a tie front in a very soft stringy wool (both from a second hand shop, a sort of vintagey place) and some mustard three quarter length trousers and boots. Sounds pretty disgusting but is nicer than I'm making out (honest!)
I'll wear these 2 "outfits" into the ground and then get something else and wonder what on earth I did without that!

Re:
Preseli Mags's Avatar I love the snuggly top WW. As for me the most comfortable would be a pair of brown yoga trousers I put on in the evening. They signify the end of the day, work done, crashed on the sofa. As for the outfit I feel comfortable in a smart sense - that would have to be my Boden tunic dress/top, with fairly skinny jeans and my beloved Fitflop superboots. The FF boots are new and were so expensive I'm banned from buying anything else for a while!

Re:
Withy Brook's Avatar Old, loose trousers, socks and trainers below and, depending on the season, either a Tshirt, or a Tshirt and an ordinary shirt over, or a rollneck rugger shirt type thing with an ordinary shirt over or with a wooly pully over. Over all, a quilted waistcoat, also old, with saggy pockets because my secateurs live in one of them.
For tidy - a dress that was bought to go and see the Queen and is the most comfortable tidy thing I have ever had. G calls it my OBE dress for obvious reasons. Embarassed

Re:
Fennie's Avatar Well this is later and I still can't find the picture of you in your top!

Re:
Westerwitch's Avatar I haven't had time to take a picture Fennie. No need to worry Rosie I think it is what you would call a slouch top. I just feel so comfortable in it. I went out and bought another Weirdfish outsize top yesterday - it was an old design and therefore cheaper . . .
