Westerwitch's Avatar No idea what the problem was - we phoned up BT and the phone line had a recorded message saying that there was a major fault that they were unable to take individual calls.

Anyway appears to be back now.

Westerwitch's Avatar And just to add insult to injury the number that comes up on the computer screen when the broadband is down is wrong . . . although to be fair there is then a phone message when you ring the wrong number giving you another number to dial and this time a free one - the old one was an 0845 number which you had to pay for.

Peterwf's Avatar The company also stressed: "The issue has been fixed and broadband services have been restored to the majority of affected customers.
or so they say,

at least your hands are small enough to use a Blackberry, something I can only dream of.

Frances's Avatar My vision and financial resources will keep me away from Mr/Ms Blackberry forever.

If I were younger, I might be tempted.

All the same, glad that you are back in full bodied contact, WW. xo

Are you having trouble seeing the words on the screen? You can change the size of the words in the menus on the BlackBerry Curve smartphone.

1. From the main menu, select Options.

2. Select Screen/Keyboard.

3. Select the Font Size field, then scroll to the desired setting.

Westerwitch's Avatar Brilliant will give it a go Blossom.

Actually Frances I got the phone for free under my current contract and am still paying the same each month as I was ten years ago and that includes Internet access so not as expensive as it would seem. Although I don't use my phone as much as I used to, but it is excellent to still get all my emails wherever I am and means I will never miss a booking because i am out of touch and of course I can keep an eye on the Skool Twisted Evil
