Cowart's Common Room
WHERE BE THE OWLS?

Bear and Her Ladyship are on hand, a little earlier than usual. But there be no Owls at the Owl perch.

Most peculiar. Thought, truth be told, increasingly less peculiar. Which is, in itself, is peculiar. A dearth of Owls is becoming more common. Bear worries, Miss Sadie is puzzled.

Well, you know the routine. Bear with deerstalker hat, magnifying glass and Her Ladyship, has set off in search of Owls. With one other new accoutrement. Binoculars. The better with which to see any Owls which might be out there.

If you arrive in absence of Bear and Miss Sadie, please do feel at home. If you need a place to yawn, stretch, and natter when you're not sleeping, this is such an ideal place.

TTFN.

Re:
Perhaps a little Bonnie Tyler music while you're waiting for others to appear.

(You'll need Flash Player for this.)

Re:
Well, Miss Sadie and I have been out in search of Owls, but have found none. An ill omen if ever there were one.

On the more positive side, Max has Tiddles the Cat, and our clock run on moonglow, working in prime condition. Well, done Max.

If any Owls come by, please make yourselves at home and enjoy a chat.

Bear and Miss Sadie are walking off home in the moonlight.

Sleep well, good Owls.

Re:
Frances's Avatar Bear, your fellow north American owl has landed. And it looks as it you might have flown.

Where oh where is Camilla?

Thank you Bear for establishing the owl overnight station. No matter who might log on and when that might happen, I do think it's great for this site to have an overnight presence (across lots of time zones.)

As Camilla often says, if you are awake and want to have a natter, this is the place.

I am now deeply into tonight's pasta, and am about to take a tour of the site and also blogland.

Promise to return, within perhaps 15 minutes or so?

xo

Re:
Frances's Avatar Well, my dear owl pals, I have returned, and see an empty perch.

Maybe tomorrow will give us all an opportunity to create a traffic jam in the landing area over this owl perch.

Until then, sweet dreams to all. xo

Re:
Camilla's Avatar Thanks Westerwitch, yes, saw it on the news recently, apparantly something to do with heriditary? think mine is probably though to do with life here, not easy living with someone with manic depression.
