Cowart's Common Room
Party Time

On Saturday afternoon our neighbours had a cheese and wine party to celebrate the wedding of a couple who have lived together for many many years, and have two sons to show for it.

They went to Gretna with their family and had a lovely few days at Crieff Hydro after their wedding.

On their return, the neighbours had an afternoon celebration which was just lovely.

By supper time we were all feeling a bit in need of sustinance and fifteen of us ended in our kitchen when everyone brought what they had organised for their evening meal and the men cooked it!!!

This was totally unorganised and just happened.

We had Cous cous-- ,a lovely chicken noodle dish--- a stir fry--- a rice and prawn dish--- baked potatoes--- crusty bread---some fish---some fried chicken---home grown tomatoes---oat cakes and cheese and such a lot of fun... Do I really want to move from this house Crying or Very sadCrying or Very sadCrying or Very sadCrying or Very sad.

Do you really want to move? Perhaps, but only if you can stay in the same neighbourhood.

Patsy's Avatar Sometimes the impromptu get togethers are the best, Silverhead! But presumably you have a good reason for moving?

Westerwitch's Avatar Now Patsy has copied me and repeated what I was going to say. It does sound as though you do have a good reason for moving, but you don't really want to.

The impromptu get together sounded wonderful. One of thos events you will remember long after.

CalicoKate's Avatar Wonderful time Silverhead, one to remember when you have moved, a 'do you remember when...' moment, sometimes they are just as good as the real thing.
Your reasons for moving are sound and you know that really I think, tough as it must be. I know my Nan practically dug her heels in and refused to move, and she was only moving to a downstairs flat in the same building! So it must be tough for you. Hugs CKxx
