Cowart's Common Room

I have a passion for the American Thomas English Muffins. They are not available here in Ireland. I have tried making a copycat recipe, but it was too like a crumpet. If they are available in England, would someone volunteer to send me 2 Packets. I will pay for them including the postage. They will be my treat when I finish THE diet. You can PM me. Thanks a million.

Tiggywinkle's Avatar I have found a new recipe that has cider vinegar and yogurt in it, which might give that chewy natural taste, which I will try when I get back from Australia.

Faith's Avatar I'll look when I get back from hols, Tiggy. We have a large American community here and the shops cater for them. Mind you I have never seen these muffins, but doesnt mean they are not there....Laughing

CalicoKate's Avatar Never heard of them! Not something the Co-Op in Lochgilphead stocks sorry Tiggy! But would be fascinated to hear more.
