Cowart's Common Room
@themill's wonderful shop

As a lot of you know, @themill has a new project - the wondrous Eleanor's Byre. I've written a post about it on The Lady's website and would be great if you could maybe visit and post a comment in support...

Sadly the shop website isn't quite up and running totally yet - but hopefully it will be soon....

Arosebyanyothername's Avatar I can well imagine the effort involved in setting up this shop. Perfection comes at a price and needs a special sort of personality. Sadly, I don't have it either.

Best of luck with this venture. I look forward to seeing the website when it is finished so I can have a good browse.

Good blog too.

Exmoorjane's Avatar It is going to be absolutely gorgeous! I visited when it was all boxes and unpacking and STILL fell in love....

Milla's Avatar it sounds fab and great blog as usual - can't comment on the Lady blog, Jane - get old Rachel to make it easier. I nipped onto Fred's site, but very primitive but have e-mailed her.

Ivy's Avatar Oh yes shop envy here too. I once had a shop but had to give it up ( house was knocked down for very expensive flats) and I would go back any time specially with all those lovely things.

CalicoKate's Avatar Sounds like it is going to be amazing. Great blog EJ.

Exmoorjane's Avatar Spread the word, chaps! It really should be a destination stop for anyone in the North-East or travelling through...*sigh* just wish I lived closer (but then again, probably a good job I don't....would wreck both figure and bank account)

Tiggywinkle's Avatar I must be thick. I can't find where to make a comment, and I can't find Fred's blog as @themill isn't there any more. Anyhow. Great News, and I'm sure it will be a great success. Well done Fred. Looking forward to seeing the new website.

Exmoorjane's Avatar No, it's not you, Tiggy... I think they make it stupidly hard to comment on The Lady website - you have to register if I recall. Fred's blog for Eleanor's Byre is here

Tiggywinkle's Avatar Thank you Jane. I was beginning to think I was loosing it.Laughing

Pondside's Avatar Wouldn't I love to be able to visit - sounds like the perfect place to head for on a blustery September day.

Patsy's Avatar OO it was Pondie! I was there this week just as more and more boxes of lovely things arrived courtesy of a bemused postman!!
Not only is everything chosen with Fred's exquisite taste but it is also of the highest quality. There is something for everyone and just perfect for gifts.
Right now I need those baby sized charming little sheepskin boots for a Christening gift, and some of the beautifully scented soaps for mother-in-law.....

Oh do get Eleanor's Byre up and running, Fred, no slacking now!!!
And do tell us all what is your first sale to the great unsuspecting public
( adoring friends and relatives don't count!)Wink

Exmoorjane's Avatar I can vouch for the seaweed range - the bath salts are FABULOUS. And the garden twine (though choosing one colour was tough!). And the oven mitts are THE best. We also bought fridge magnets and a very neat dog poop bag carrier!
It IS all of highest quality and Fred's taste is impeccable...
But Patsy, did you have the hot chocolate????? Oh. My. God. I am still salivating over it.... *sigh*
