Cowart's Common Room

Hello Owls.!

The weather was wonderful on Thursday, so much so that I was able to get out into the gardens, still waiting for Willouby the gardener to come and do the hedging though.

Sorry I was not around last couple of nights, long story and black dog, nooo not the furry kind.Smile

Thank you to dear Frances and the Bear for posting while I have been off the perch, so kind.

Kettle is boiling, ah, where would we be without the old cuppa.

See you later owls.

If you can't sleep and there are others on line then have a natter here.

Night Night, & Sweet Dreams.

Here's a question.

Can a Bear natter? And does it matter whether a Bear can natter?

Those are deep thoughts, and I cannot figure them out.

Bear is finished supper. Usually supper is over by time it's midnight GMT, though a little later today, since I was in to the see my physician at the end of his day. Miss Sadie gets her supper before we make ours. (She's asleep on the floor beside my desk as I'm typing.)

I think Bears tend to growl softly rather than natter, but I'll do some research on that.

Grey, rainy day here in our part of the colony. Again. So much, in fact, that when it stops (in a day or two, I hope) I'm going to have to mow the "hay" on our micro-holding. Millions of farm acres still under water around the province; crops rotting in the fields, and too much water to get equipment out there.

Miss Sadie needs some attention, so I'm off with her into the rain, I think.

There's a pm for Frances if she stops by, and I hope you have a good evening, Camilla.

Sleep well, good Owls.

Camilla's Avatar Sorry to have missed you Bear, thank you. I usually feed Daisy when we are having ours, and she is always eager to get to her bowl.!

Hoping that the physician can help with easing for Bear's comfort and that meds can help too.

Oh not good about crops rotting in fields, such worry for the farmers. Fingers crossed for more dry days soon near you Bear, perhaps Bears wear special hats for that wet weather too.!

Thanks Bear, sleep well, night night, hope to catch up with you tomorrow.

Frances's Avatar Oh, must have just missed you, Camilla.

Late arrival, due to ... well, work.

I am sure that I will not be here tomorrow, as I will be working until about midnight ... we are doing our bit for Fashion's Night Out.

Fennie's Avatar Do hope you are feeling better, Camilla. I use St John's Wort when the Black Dog comes calling, but I know that it doesn't suit everyone. But it seems to work for me. Very Happy

Camilla's Avatar Thank you Frances, hope it is going well with that Fashion Night Out.!

Aw, thank you kindly Fennie, how very kind of you, yes heard St John's Wort is good, may give it a go, although I am a tad nervy at trying anything new, thanks again Fennie.
