Cowart's Common Room
Spare a thought (2)

We overdid the rain dancing last night. We have had monsoon type rain now for over twelve hours with thunder and lightening all night. We had to bring the dog into the bedroom as he was trying to wreck the door in his agitation.

A cup left outside on the table runneth over.

I know we needed rain as we hadn't had a decent amount for about two months but this is overdoing it. Rain is forecast for the next three days and we have visitors in the gite.

I should have been more sympathetic to Salle de Bain last night.

Re:
Withy Brook's Avatar I have just been out to measure the rain and .9ins has fallen, starting after midnight and it is now10.00am. That is a lot of rain here in Northumberland, as we are in the rain-shaddow of the Pennines. It is still raining hard and forecast to go on till about 1.00pm. No thunder though.
The trouble with the rain is that it goes away and forgets to come back and then when it does come back, it forgets how to stop Rolling Eyes
